Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cognitive radio is a new technology that dynamically allocates radio resources based on spectrum sensing results in a local wireless environment. The goal of introducing cognitive radio is to optimize area spectrum efficiency by means of dynamic management of radio resources in space, time, and frequency domains. In this research project, we are studying on a cognitive MIMO mesh network, that can be overlaid on a primary wireless system by avoiding mutual interferences with spatial signal processing, time scheduling, transmit power control, dynamic routing, as well as dynamic frequency channel allocation. In this paper, we will focus on the spatial signal processing for spectrum sharing by using MIMO algorithm in a mesh network. A new concept of MIMO scheme is proposed for transmit and receive interference cancellation and spatial multiplexing for a mesh network.
