Abstract(in English) Cognitive radio system consists of multiple wireless access systems that cover overlapping area, and cognitive terminals that use one or more wireless access systems simultaneously to communicate with network. In this paper, the system concept of cognitive radio and the experimental inter-system handover protocols are proposed. In the proposed system, cognitive terminals are given one local IP address regardless the number of wireless access systems that they communicate with, while the control sequence and packet format of the experimental system are designed to realize fast handover among wireless systems.
