| Abstract(in English) | We propose successive multiplanar reconstruction(s-MPR) for tracking cerebral arteries in 3D MR Angiography data. In our s-MPR, (1) A tracking line of blood vessel is obtained using 3D segmentation and thinning processing. (2) The first MPR image position is determined by mouse click action on the tracking line of blood vessel. (3) Sequential MPR images are automatically generated and displayed along the tracking line of blood vessel. Our s-MPR shows: (a) Capability of MPR positioning based on blood vessel structure. (b) Realtime display of both MPR image and its 3D position on tracking line of blood vessel. (c) Creation of MPR animation along tracking line of blood vessel like GIF animation. |
