Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) PET is one of the important technology in recent medical imaging. However, there is a limitation in detecting small abnormal regions such as epilepsy and breast cancer. Therefore research in improving image quality is still an important subject. The amount of tracer concentrations in each organ depends on the tissue and is constant for normal person. We shoe that it is possible to obtain a high quality image by including the difference between the template created from anatomical information of MR image and the reconstruction image into the cost function of image reconstruction. In this paper, we develop a new iterative reconstruction method which separates the operation of decreasing the distance between PET image and the template as a threshold operation.
