Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Broadcast-wave relay has the advantages of low deployment cost and efficient use of frequency to expand DTTB (Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting) throughout Japan. However, there are the severe problems of CLI (Coupling Loop Interference) caused by coupling between the transmitting antenna and receiving antenna, and CCI (Co-Channel Interference) caused by interference from another transmitting station within an SFN (Single Frequency Network). We have been developing an interference canceller utilizing an adaptive array antenna and a feedback filter to remove such interferences. In this paper, we show the results of a long term field trial for broadcast-wave relay in an SFN with CCI using a trial interference canceller.
