Abstract(in English) We described an optical fiber line testing system design considering the outside plant environment for use in measuring 8-branched PON fibers with individually assigned Brillouin frequency shifts. We confirmed that the separations of assigned BFS fibers installed in the branched region should be more than 120 MHz to take account of the environmental conditions. We also described our measurement of 8-branched PON fibers and showed that we could distinguish the 8 BFS assigned fibers below the optical splitter. We reduced the noise and fluctuation in the BFS loss distribution trace by integrating the BFS power.
