Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Forward-type converters magnetize their transformers in only one direction. This suggests that in forward-type converters the magnetizing current flows in only one direction. By the examination of magnetizing current path of high frequency transformer for forward type converters, new theory has been proposed that the magnetizing current flows in both the positive and negative directions in the transformer. In this paper we prove the new theory by the experimental results of a forward type single ended converter.
