Experimental analysis on 40 Gb/s-based wavelength service in an all-optical network

Abstract(in English) A 40Gb/s-based wavelength service was experimentally investigated by using a large-scale all-optical network comprised of 6 all-optical switching nodes. We have confirmed that a wavelength-continuity constraint-based end-to-end path-provisioning and error free operation of each path were achieved at 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s. In addition, dynamic restoration and 1+1 fast protection have been successfully confirmed.
