Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have researched on the compact breath-sensing system by using infrared spectroscopy for ubiquitous health care. For such that ubiquitous system, on-line measurable, low cost, and compact light source is required. As such a compact source candidate, SLED is attractive because of the wide band width of over 10nm (FWHM), which enables multi-gas detecting simultaneously. In this paper, to examine multi-gas sensing possibilities of this SLED, we examined multi-gas sensing for CO_2 and CO that were the typical contents in breath and had information on health. As a result, it was experimentally confirmed that they are distinguishable in case of appropriate peak settings.
