Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Introduction: Carbon blacks (CB) are widely used in applications such as electrodes for fuel cells, electrical and electronic components in cars, etc. However, not many theoretical studies have been carried on the electronic and electrical properties of CB. In this work we have theoretically investigated the influence of surface chemistry on the electrical conductivity and electronic properties of CB.
