Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We used Random Dot Pattern (RDP) which has been considered not to have the information of shape as an experiment task paying attention to the information process for cognition and determination of the movement directions. Electroencephalograms (EEG) of nine subjects (23.0±1.2 years old) were measured at 19 electrode sites according to the 10-20 system using RDP movement task. EEG were averaged to extract the event-related potential (ERP). In addition to the N1 (N100), N2 (N200) and P3 (P300) wave components, the grand average waveform between the subjects was investigated. Considering the nerve conduction time from motor area to a finger for button press, it could be estimated that P300 component reflects some brain activity after the cognition and determination of RDP movement direction.
