Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes group-wised allocation of transmission bandwidth of the pilot channel for channel quality indicator (CQI) measurement in frequency domain channel-dependent scheduling with adaptive control of transmission bandwidth in the single-carrier FDMA-based Evolved UTRA uplink. In the proposed method, to avoid the decrease in the number of constant amplitude zero autocorrelation (CAZAC) sequence which is used for pilot channel, users are group-wised based on transmission bandwidth of the pilot channel for CQI measurement and are allocated transmission bandwidth separately in frequency domain between different groups. We show that when the transmission bandwidth of pilot channel for CQI measurement is controlled to predetermined 2 transmission bandwidths the proposed method reduces the decrease in the number of CAZAC sequence to 2/3 compared to that without group-wised allocation. Furthermore, we show that applying group-wised allocation, 5% in the cumulative distribution function of user throughput is increased as twice as that without group-wised allocation due to the effect of interference coordination while maintaining a similar sector throughput level. |
