Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we discuss about the essence of Xena's algorithm and its advantage on the lossless compression capability and its performance (compression speed) against JPEG2000, JPEG_LS, which is present world standard technology on continuous tone image compression field. Xena has achieved extremely high compression speed, which is over 20 times faster than JPEG2000's performance. And compression capability is almost same as JPEG2000's one. |
