Abstract(in English) | Semi-circular disc monopole antennas have wideband characteristics and compact size when they are rounded cylindrically. And, circular disc monopole antennas also have wideband characteristics and simple structure. In this paper, the performance of the rounded antennas from the disc monopole or semi-circular disc monopole is investigated and the effect of the curve of the antenna element on the impedance characteristics is described. Moreover, realizability of the antenna which has both performance of wideband impedance characteristics and stable gain is discussed. |
