Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rate-compatible LDPC (RC-LDPC) codes have a great attention because of their flexibility and easy to provide various performances by changing the number of parity blocks. The authors have been considered several blind estimation techniques based on likelihood information of the sum-product decoder and achieved the performance analysis. However, in practical systems, a reliable transmission must be required. Then, we have to consider application to retransmission scheme with the blind estimation techniques. In this paper, the authors focus on a hybrid-ARQ scheme and propose a novel reliable re-transmission scheme with a blind estimation. The performance analysis is made by computer simulations. It can be obtained that the proposed scheme has good performance compared to a conventional Hybrid-ARQ scheme.
