Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, a new microstrip line (MSL) with periodic dielectric rods and stubs inside the dielectric substrate are proposed and investigated because of applying its wide-bandstop characteristics to the microwave filter by using LTCC techniques. The proposed models are analyzed by the FDTD method, and it is confirmed that the wide-bandpass characteristic of the proposed filters can be controlled by the shape of periodic dielectric rods and stub circuits mutually functioning on MSL. Furthermore, we have designed and experimented on Wide-BPF with the satisfactory performance of UWB system.
