Abstract(in English) In this paper, firstly, a two-branch branch-line coupler with unequal loads that transforms terminal impedances from incident and isolation ports to direct and coupled ports is introduced. The circuit model used here consists of one-quarter and three-quarters wavelength transmission-lines. Next, the transformation to lumped-element circuit is considered. In the course of realizing a lumped-element coupler, it is shown that the coupler structure can be classified into five groups, and furthermore, the element number of a lumped-element coupler can be reduced to 6 circuit elements only in the case of impedance-transforming. Finally, experimental results are presented.
