| Abstract(in English) | A lot of carriers have introduced MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) technologies in commercial IP-VPN services and wide area ethernet services, and have managed their MPLS based networks. Recently, some carriers have reviewed and verified GMPLS (Generalized Multi Protocol Label Switching) technologies to deploy them in their commercial networks. We clarify issues and challenges about network architecture and operations in our commercial MPLS networks. Then, we describe a future appropriate direction of MPLS technologies. In terms of GMPLS technologies, we also describe a future appropriate direction of GMPLS technologies and the method how we introduce them in our commercial networks. |
