Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed MAT, an architecture for network mobility, to realize mobile communication in IP layer with IP address translation. We introduce IP Address Mapping Server (IMS) to share mapping information on a Home Address and corresponding Mobile Addresses of mobile nodes with communicating nodes. In this paper, we explain the detail of redundant operations of multiple IMSs and evaluate the effect of handover using multiple IMSs. We also consider issues of update and synchronization of multiple IMSs.
