Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method of generating image-based quiz from news video archive. Although there are various types of quiz, our target is a kind of matching quiz between images and their explanations. To make the quiz, a special relationship that is "close but not the same" should be found among images and/or their explanations. In addition, not all images from news videos can be used to form the image-based quiz because image should have a certain roll as the quiz. In this paper, we clear the problems of making quiz and propose the automatic generating method by using some statistical analyses, then we give experimental results of our method.
