Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since it is difficult to obtain the balun that can be used in GHz band, a balance-unbalance conversion factor and a radiated electric field from differential type microstrip lines (DML) have not been examined in the frequency range above 1GHz. In this paper, we try to measure the balance-unbalance conversion factor and the radiated electric field in the frequency range above 1GHz by using a mode analyzing function of a network analyzer instead of balun, and compare with the calculation values by using the 4-terminal pair network chain matrix theory. They were able to be measured in the frequency range above 1GHz, and agreed with the calculation values. As their results, it is confirmed that their calculation methods by the 4-terminal pair network chain matrix theory are effective in the DML in the frequency range above 1GHz.
