Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The SAR probe is often calibrated by use of the waveguide and the matching dielectric slab below 3GHz. However, the diameter of the probe is comparable with the cross section of the waveguide above 3GHz, then it can deteriorate the accuracy of the calibration. Therefore, we propose a new calibration for the probe, in which the output voltage of the probe can be related to the magnitude of the electric field generated by a reference antenna in the liquid. In this calibration, it is necessary to measure the absolute gain of the reference antenna in the liquid and evaluate Type B standard uncertainty. As a consequence of the uncertainty analysis, we can find some sources which deteriorate the uncertainty.
