Abstract(in English) | Recently, abilities of electro magnetic simulators based on MoM(Method of Moment) have been increased by employing FMM(Fast Multipole Method). So, rather large objects can be calculated by this tool. In this paper, a 1/48 scale down model of a stealth fighter plane is employed to estimate RCS. At the frequency of 60GHz, the size of this model becomes about 80 wavelegth. Computer memory capacity of 1.9GB and computation time of about 2 hours are meeded. In order to estimate the accuracy of calculated results, experimental studies are also conducted. Rather nice correspondences are observed in calculated and measured results. |
