Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper examines a Ratio Rule mining problem based on support and confidence factors. Ratio Rules are linear relationships in numeric attributes applicable to understanding data, filling missing attribute values, and related issues. In our previous work, we have formulated Ratio Rules as it relates to association rule mining, and introduced Ratio Rule mining algorithms. Ratio Rules considered there are "Global" ones. In this paper, we formulate "Local" Ratio Rules, which have locality concept that Global ones do not have, and propose a method to extract Local Ratio Rules. We show appropriateness of our proposed method using synthetic and real data.
