Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present an information dissemination method with context awaring by using monitoring cameras in station environments. The feature of this method is to utilize legacy monitoring cameras for detecting user's location and direction. Moreover, this method enables to construct information dissemination systems with context awaring. Monitoring cameras recognize infrared ray emitted from a user's mobile information terminal and detect the user's context by image processing. The user can receive relevant navigation contents depending on his/her context. This paper shows implementation of an experimental system to verify feasibility in railway scenes.
