Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a method of supporting the user's trust judgment on Web search results by using search engine's metadata. The goal is to reduce the time the user requires to examine the search results and to decide whether to trust them or not. Specifically, we assume that Web search results containing a number of technical terms that are relevant to the search query are likely to be more trustworthy than those that contain only few. These technical terms are extracted by analyzing search engines' metadata. We also discuss a trust-oriented meta-search engine based on our proposed method.
