Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a low noise amplifier with low power consumption, for biosensor LSI. Low-power consumption and low-noise amplification are necessary because of the weak bioelectrical signal and the battery drive. We try to reduce power consumption by employing a circuit technique of MOS capacitor amplification. Moreover, a flicker noise reduction technique is presented for the capacitor amplification circuit. These techniques have achieved 2.2μW power consumption and 72dB voltage gain at 3.3V power-supply.
