Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, mammography breast cancer screening has increased. The mammary gland structure as observed by a mammary radiogram is classified as Fatty tissue, Scattered mammary gland, Heterogeneously dense or Dense Breast. In Heterogeneously dense in is difficult to distinguish a mass. The mass and mammary glands are very similar in shape and density as observed by mammography. In this study we have developed anew structured automated extraction algorithm that focuses attention on density distribution in the mammary radiogram.
