Abstract(in English) A transparent Kana character board is used to communicate with the severe physically disabled. When the care-giver finds the intended letters of the disabled individual, a transparent board is placed between both persons, and the care-giver estimates the selected character which the disabled person gazes. Based on this method, we have developed an eye transfer communication system using a virtual transparent display panel on PC. In this system, a web camera is used to get the image of eyes and the position of pupil is calculated to suppose the stare character.
