Abstract(in English) | We propose the application of SAW devices to a strain rate meter. The sensor has two patterns. First, it is composed by a delay line device. Secondly, it is composed of two delay line device which cross at right angles to measure 2 dimensional strains. The strains rate can be obtained by measuring the velocity of SAW caused by strains. The results obtained from strain rate measurements showed that the proposed device was effective as strain rate meter. Moreover, it is shown that using an antenna enable wireless sensor. |
