Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We implemented multi-camera surveillance system using wireless LAN. By using wireless LAN, we can get network infrastructure easily but wireless LAN has only limited bandwidth. Surveillance images are redundant, so bit allocation based on scene content cut the image volume of the system. In this paper, we propose hierarchical bit allocation for all of the system.
