Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The number of driver's license holders and car owners are increasing every year, and the car has obviously become indispensable to our daily life. To improve safety and road traffic efficiency, intelligent transporation system (ITS) technologies including adaptive cruise control (ACC), and lane-keeping assist systems (LKAS) have been developed over the last several years. However, these driver assist systems are not adapted for individual drivers. In this paper, we investigate a generation method of car-following patterns for individual drivers. Pedal operation patterns are estimated from Gaussian mixture models trained for each driver.
