Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since the existing core network has recently become more complex and functional due to advanced and diversified services, the efficient operation and management is desired. However, such a network is generally managed and operated through EMS (Element Management System) or NMS (Network Management System) individually developed per vender or layer, which results in complexity of operation and increase of operational expenditure (opex). In this paper, we propose an integrating architecture of the management system for MPLS and GMPLS networks and indicate the developed prototype of the MPLS/GMPLS operation and management system. Through the evaluation using MPLS/GMPLS network testbed, the effectiveness of our developed system was verified.
