Abstract(in English) IP-based telecommunication infrastructure brings about diversification of network services and embraces potential spurn of unexpected new killer services. As new killer services emerge, we may witness unforeseeable dynamics of traffic fluctuation. In addition the role of IP-based telecommunication network infrastructure becomes more and more significant, and impact of outage of network is therefore getting enormous. As such IP-based telecommunication network infrastructure needs flexibility and reliability. We developed IP Optical traffic engineering technologies to address the requirements. The technologies were implemented in a server-based method called "IP Optical TE (Traffic Engineering) server". We conducted proof-of-concept experiments using the IP Optical TE server and the testbed in our labs consisting of commercial IP routers and OXCs controlled by GMPLS. We confirmed that multi-layer routing and dynamic IP network topology reconfiguration, which is called Virtual Network Topology (VNT) reconfiguration,. In this paper we report the overview of the IP Optical TE server and the experiment results.
