Abstract(in English) On local road, the traffic jam by visitors is serious problem. Unlike city, this is in a situation distinctive to local. Service suitable for local characteristic is desired. Detour information is available information. We paid our attention to Map style VMS. Expression of information elements easy to understand for drivers was investigated. As a result of a series of investigations, when an expression characteristic of information elements was used, the available result was shown. We propose the design index of Map style VMS for an available result to be acquired local.
