Abstract(in English) We have proposed a method for estimating end-to-end TCP packet loss from sampled ACK packets. We propose here a method for estimating end-to-end packet loss from sampled data-side packets in this paper. Use of this method together with the method for estimating from the ACK side allows the estimation of communication quality in both directions by observing only the traffic in one direction at the measurement point. It is also expected to have the effect of halving the sampling probability.
