Abstract(in English) In this paper, we report a subjective quality evaluation for coded video of mobile digital terrestrial broadcasting. Mobile digital terrestrial broadcasting uses low bit rate encoding, AVC/H.264. The bit rate of video is 244kbps and the image size is QVGA (320×180pixels). By conducting subjective tests using an absolute scale, we checked the quality of small screen images encoded at the low bit rate of AVC/H.264 and clarified the relationships between bit rate, frame rate, and the subjective quality of small screen images.
