Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IEEE802.11e standard supports an Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA) to provide prioritized services in wireless LAN. In the EDCA, when some high-priority traffic increases, the performance for quality of service (QoS) is degraded because of a contention based access. This paper proposes an admission control algorithm that is used the sum of the medium time for high priority, and also a traffic control scheme for high- and low-priority flows. Some experimental evaluations were demonstrated and these results lead that the performance of the QoS for the real-time traffic could be maintained by the proposed schemes.
