Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new motion estimation method that uses the multiple luminance projection correlation and variable estimation blocks. Our estimation blocks are aligned with the axis of coordinates or 45degree from the axis of coordinates. Using two types of estimation blocks, we can user 16pixels blocks, 32 pixels blocks, 64 pixels one, 128 pixels one and 256 pixels blocks. The proposed method uses the multiple motion estimations at a pixel, and integrates the motion estimations on multiple motion estimation blocks. The proposed method is implemented and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
