Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper exploratively examines the factors which let people take trusting behavior. People tend to take trusting behavior in the trust game more than in the faith game because a player has an expectation that the partner behave honorably as reciprocal altruism. I conducted an experiment in which both games are compared and face photograph of each players were controlled. The results showed that the truster took more trusting behavior toward the trustee when a truster's face had exposed to the partner, not when a trustee's face had. This effect was occurred in only males and it is supposed that they are more sensitive to the expectation of reciprocal altruism.
