Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes functional validation of our proposed architectural framework for a variety of mobile mixed reality (MR) systems. Our framework consists of the server and client mobile devices such as notebook PCs, PDAs and mobile phones. The newest version of our framework contains the following three functions: 1) Each client is able to add or modify MR contents managed by the server in real time. 2) Each client shares the MR space based on MR contents in the server. 3) It is able to use various mobile devices as client terminals. In this paper, we have constructed three kinds of applications as prototype based on the framework, in order to describe result of functional validation of the framework.
