Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a method to visualize drama videos using scene composition graphs. A scene composition graph consists of shots which are hierarchically structured into scenes, sequences and situations. In a drama video, there are several kinds of situations which include the same place, same objects and same characters. A scene is a time-series of shots which have a same situation. A sequence is a time-series of scenes which express a same story piece in the video. The drama video can be structured by these components. We describe the method to extract the shots, scenes, situations and sequences using both of the image and audio features and to construct the scene composition graph semi-automatically. We also show the result of generated scene composition graphs and discuss the ability of our method.
