Coupling Dynamics of a Circular Aligned Long-Period-Grating Optical Fiber Array

Abstract(in English) We consider coupling dynamics of optical fields in a circularly aligned optical fibers equipped with a long-period grating by use of the discrete coupled wave equations. The two types of rotational-mode are predicted. One is forced rotational-mode, and the other is resonant rotational-mode. We investigate the dynamics of the rotational modes for various conditions of the magnitude, period, and shape of the long-period grating.
