Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new partial channel state reporting in TDD/MIMO systems and presents performance of spatial scheduling under the partial channel state reporting from multiple terminals. In the proposed method, a terminal transmits pilot signals using transmit beams which have large channel gains between the BS and the terminal. The BS can obtain the partial channel state information, measuring responses of the pilot signals. Also, we propose adaptive allocation of pilot signals for each terminal to report the partial channel state, depending on the number of terminals. In the numerical results, it is shown that the partial channel state reporting reduces required uplink radio resources, keeping high system throughput of spatial scheduling close to those under perfect channel knowledge.
