Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes pilot-based signalling to report terminal's channel state to the base station (BS) considering co-channel interference in time-division duplex (TDD) / multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system. In the proposed method, the terminal sends uplink pilot signals spatially prefiltered by linear precoder, which is dependent on the terminal's co-channel interference characteristics. The BS exploits response of the uplink pilot signals to performs transmit beamforming considering the terminal's interference effect. Moreover, the BS can predict the terminal's output signal-to-interference-plus-noise power ratio (SINR) for each data stream. Numerical results show that the proposed method achieves efficient transmission and accurate SINR prediction maintaining small control errors.
