Abstract(in English) | Real-time wireless video transmission is one of challenging applications, since wireless channel is an error-prone environment, where the channel condition degrades rapidly due to multi-path fading or shadowing. In such an environment, video rate adaptation control is a very effective method to increase the robustness of the video transmission. In this paper, we propose a deadline-aware video rate control algorithm that maximizes the video rate under a certain condition. The performance of the proposed algorithm is shown through experimental result. |
