Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we present an aerial transmission characteristics of Acoustic OFDM. Acoustic OFDM is a data transmission technology using audible acoustic signals. It adopts OFDM modulation technique to achieve robust and high-rate data transmission, overridden on audio contents maintaining high audio quality. In this paper, we describe transmission characteristics in various environments with some OFDM parameters. We confirm that we can achieve data rate of above 1kbps and BER below 0.05, at the distance of 1-4m, and the directivity of 0-50 degrees from a loudspeaker. We also show the transmission robustness in various environmental noise conditions, and through audio codec. This technology can be used to provide various types of aerial data transmission services using existing audio devices in daily life. |
