Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper analyses the impact of an iterative channel estimator embedded in the frequency-domain Turbo equalizer on the performances of single carrier broadband wireless transmission systems. In the analyzed system, an iterative channel estimator is included as a part of a soft canceller with minimum mean square error (MMSE) filter. Moreover, a convolutional coding and Turbo coding are evaluated as a component of the Turbo equalizer. The results based on extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) analysis visually shows behavior of the iterative channel estimator and gives some interpretations on the PER performances as well as some strategies on the design of the equalizer and encoder as the components of the Turbo equalizer.
