Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a multiple-input multiple-output system for OFDM (MIMO-OFDM), eigenbeam-space division multiplexing (E-SDM) which is also called a singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm can provide maximum throughput in the MIMO channel when channel state information (CSI) is available at the transmitter. We have proposed reduction of the CSI feedback using the minimum mean square error method in the time domain, and clarified good bit error rate performance. In this paper, we propose a novel technique that only dominant time-domain CSI is fed back in order to reduce the amount of feedback compared to the conventional scheme.
