Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper assesses throughput efficiencies of frequency domain (FDE) and orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) with turbo equalizer (TuE) in frequency selective multi-input multi-output (MIMO) channels after revealing differences between their signal detection strategies. The assessment is based the frame error ratio performances an performance indicator. With the aid of extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart analysis which is widely known as the method to be able to visualize the behavior of TuE, this paper provides some useful tips on the constitutive understanding of the concept by correlating the analyses to the throughput performances.
